I'm Lanna, and I can't wait to meet you!
My trajectory was most definitely influenced by my love and respect for Motherhood, babies, my profession as an Occupational Therapist, and Yoga.
During my own postpartum journey, I was faced with challenges I was not at all prepared for. From feeding difficulties, tongue + lip tie, tearing, and anxiety, how was I going to pull it together for my baby? It was overwhelming and exhausting. Why was I not more prepared? It all came down to support, time, a lot of grace, and slowly connecting with the new version of myself. During times of change or uncertainty, I have relied heavily on my yoga practice for my physical and emotional well-being and love that I get to weave it into this space!
I've dedicated a large portion of my career to working in pediatrics, supporting the development of children and providing education to their caregivers. But once I became a Mama, I desperately knew I needed to shift and specialize on where it all starts and support the mother/infant dyad. I have since, completed further training in infant oral motor development, infant feeding, manual therapy/bodywork, maternal health, prenatal/postnatal yoga, and I am a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist.
There is no separation between maternal health and infant health. They are innately interconnected. Support given during this fragile time can have lasting affects.
Being a mama is the greatest gift. Supporting you would be an honor.
Hi I’m Danielle and I’m so excited you are here!
I am here because of my motherhood journey, my profession as an occupational therapist, and my passion to help make everyday life just a little easier for both mom and baby.
I have worked all of my occupational therapy career in the pediatric field helping children develop as independently as possible while providing education and support to their families and caregivers.
I myself am a mama to two amazing kids which has helped pave the way to developing an interest in taking my career in this direction. My background in occupational therapy and my own motherhood experiences have inspired me to want to help mothers and infants make life more manageable, especially in the first year of life. My own motherhood journey has come with its own challenges and bumps along the way from feeding difficulties, reflux, oral motor struggles, sleep issues, and the anxiety that comes with it all. My hope is that I can use these experiences and my knowledge as a pediatric OT to help others in their journey. I look forward to meeting you!
